Jean
Beaudoin, MPA.
President and CEO
Mr. Beaudoin is President and CEO of
Conporec since August 2004. Prior to joining Conporec, Mr. Beaudoin
was Senior vice-president, Municipalities and Public Sector for
Roche Ltd., one of the largest engineering-construction firms in
Quebec. Through his 20-year career, Mr. Beaudoin has developed a
considerable experience in the area of public sector planning, development
and infrastructures. He has also gathered a solid expertise in waste
management through several studies and infrastructure projects,
including several Waste Management Master Plans. Mr. Beaudoin has
a degree in Urban Planning, as well as a Master’s degree in
Public Administration for which he won an award from the Union des
Municipalités du Québec.
Fabrice
Hermance, MDA, DEA
Executive Vice President
Mr. Hermance joined Conporec in February
2005. He first occupied the position of Executive Advisor through
a consulting mandate. During this period, he managed the Biomax
acquisition which henceforth became a subsidiary of Conporec. Following
this mandate he was appointed Executive Vice President of the company.
Mr. Hermance has a solid academic education in strategic planning
as well as in growth management. He obtained a Bachelor’s
and a Master’s degree in administration with mention (‘’Major’’
among 230 graduates). Finally he obtained a DEA in small and medium-size
business completed in double cursus (Université de Tours,
France / Université du Québec, Trois-Rivières,
Canada). Furthermore, he is the author of a memoir in strategies
for development of medium-size businesses. Before being established
in Quebec in 2004, Mr. Hermance had 12 years of experience in France
in management structures of worldwide businesses, as well as in
structures of asset development.
Paul
Picard, M. Sc.
Vice-president development
Mr. Picard has joined Conporec in 2004
where he brings has 16 years of experience in environmental works,
including over 12 years in the development and implementation of
environmental projects in Europe, Asia, and Central America. From
2001 and 2004, he was responsible for the development and implementation
of the international business development strategy for some of the
largest US environmental contractors in the areas of municipal and
industrial waste management, wastewater treatment, and soil remediation
among others. Other responsibilities included the identification,
negotiation and implementation of Joint Marketing, Project Development,
and Project Implementation Agreements with Foreign Partners. Through
his various assignments, Mr. Picard has developed an international
network of private and institutional partners.
